A brief documentary about my family’s sordid past with Beanie Babies. Produced for my Documentary Production class at The University of Arizona.
Video Rating: five / five
This is depressingly hilarious.
This is a real good video

i still collect them, but only the ones before 2000
I Also have about 200 and plan to sell them someday………;)
I think you should open a museum Id pay to see them all under one roof . I had the first 6 sold them too cheep to buy a bed for my child
That is really fucking sad.
This was amaaaaaaaaaazing! I hope you got to go to college >.>
I can completely emphasize ! I started collecting the bears in the late 90′s. Still have them all too. I cringe to think of the money spent, but thats the only thing I regret. The ‘thrill of the hunt’ , beanie fairs at weekends, cataloguing, finding rarities at good prices ( it did happen sometimes), it was all obsessing – but it was fantastic fun too, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
Wow, his ties in directly to a song I wrote for my first CD, Songs About Stuff. The song is called Beer cans and Beanie Babies.
Interesting movie. I remember when they first came out. Kids were crazy for them. I even collected some.
This is great.
