Could the Earth just be God’s giant ant farm?

Question by St. Dave: Could the Earth just be God’s giant ant farm?
And when he gets bored or sick of us, all he’ll have to do is shake us real violently, and like the picture on an “Etch-a-Sketch” we’ll all just disappear.

I don’t really see any indication from our lives that he’s benevolent, so, sure. Why not?

  • α&Ω:

Fun idea. However realistically, god is completely imaginary.

  • Agent319.007:

Heck yeah! God could destroy us in a span of 60 seconds without blinking an eye.

  • Roman187:

I think so,because when things are going really good in my life something happens. Its like something gets bored when things are going right for me.But its probably the Devil.God doesn’t get credit for that one.

  • Terry W:

The way some Christians talk about it – it so sounds like it.

  • Joe k:

Anything is possible with the Christian God, i mean im already doomed to hell, so i really could care less, lol, im an atheist.

  • Sudy Nim:

    Whoa, yeah!!!!!
    That’s a real interesting thought.

    BUT HERE’S ANOTHER ONE:
A God who loves these tiny insignficant ants.
    =^o

I know…sounds unbelievable. Which is probably why it’s even more unbelievable to think that God would become an ant and go down and live down in this ant farm to be killed in the most horrendous way because He loves them/us so much.
Hope that helps, God bless. ^_^

Yes…we are all just a bunch of Creepy Crawlie’s,nothing that an oversized can of Raid couldn’t cure! I’m always “Bugging” people. I use to think the Earth was round? Now you’ve just informed me that we are Square…like a terrarium! Quick, call the Orkin Man!!!

That’s kind of the way I thought of things when I was about 3, but, as I learned the truth, I had to give up that idea. A better comparison is that of a father, sending his children off to school. He doesn’t control our actions – he allows us to learn, occasionally intervening. Stuff happens. We learn and experience things and learn to be the best we can be. Sometimes there are bullies on the playground. He lets us learn to deal with them on our own as well. He is not an interfering sort of Father. He knows what we need to learn and how we will best learn it. And yes, I think He occasionally gets really ticked at us – like any other parent. But, I think he told us what the consequences of our actions would be before we came. Unlike earthly parents – He is consistent. He always does what He says he’ll do. I don’t think that is Him shaking things up — just the way things work in the eternal world.

  • driving_blindly:

Yes, but he also gets to see things from the ant’s point of view….how cool would that be!

  • GreenEarthMom:

With God all things are possible…..
I have had the feeling in the past that I am under the microscope, and that I will be in trouble for the wrong move or thought. There are those who say that when disasters strike that is God doing just that….
I’m still unsure about that….It is a very interesting concept that we, as in humanity, are nothing more than a toy or experiment for a higher power’s amusement. In my humble opinion God created us, we are his children, he sent his only begotten son among us to teach us and he does love us…..Now, do me a favor think about this the next time you kick over an ant hill…..
    Peace be with you.

GOD’S GREATEST GIFT IS HIS WORD

Now as we sit here Today it came to me that what a Precious Gift a Baby is when it comes into
the world, And how we Love that baby and we cherish it and nurture it and make sure that all of
it’s need’s are meet in every way Possible. Well Our Heavenly Father Loves us even more than
we can even love our child, Do you know how I can sit here and say this? Well to began with, Do
you know how many strands of hair is in your child’s head? I CAN’T SAY I DO ON MY
CHILD’S HEAD AND I LOVE MY CHILDREN SO VERY MUCH..

This show’s Really how much God love’s us in Luke 12:7 Jesus Said: But even the very hairs of
your head are all numbered, Fear not therefore: ye are more value than many sparrows,

And Jesus said unto His Disciples Luke 12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto
you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
    12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn;
and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
12:26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that
Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the
oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
12:29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye
    have need of these things.
12:31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
12:33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in
the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothing either, That our lives are more than food or
clothing, and God feed the birds and gives them shelter, so how much do you think God will take
care of us? And by worrying, what can you add to it or do about it by worrying? I F YOU PUT
YOUR TRUST IN God to supply all your needs, This is Why Christ said: O ye of little faith?

In His Word CHRIST also Said : Seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be
ye of doubtful mind., Do not worry about food, cloths, nor Doubt with your mine that God will
do as he has said He Would Do.
For The Father Know what we are in need of even before we ask HIM. FOR Jesus said:12:31 But
rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Meaning First Seek God, And HIS KINGDOM and “all these things shall be added unto you”.
And he Said not to worry about Material things for these mean nothing and HE SAID: For where
your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER WHERE YOU LAY YOUR TREASURE’S AT IN YOUR
LIFE, FOR WHERE YOU LAY UP YOUR TREASURE UP AT IS WHERE YOUR HEART
    IS, .
Material things do not matter in this lifetime, For you can’t take it with you when you die, so we
must Remember, that WE MUST SEEK OUT THE THING’S IN LIFE THAT REALLY
MATTER, THAT IS GODS KINGDOM, ALL OTHER THINGS WILL BE ADDED TO US IF
WE DO THIS, FOR THIS IS HIS WORD, NOT MINE, AND IF WE SEEK GOD FIRST WE
WILL FIND TRUE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, HAPPINESS, PEACE, AND JOY. AND HE
WILL TAKE CARE OF US LIKE WE DID OUR CHILD, AS WE ARE HIS CHILDREN AND
HE GAVE HIS SON JESUS FOR US, SO IN CLOSING I WANT YOU TO THINK ABOUT
WHERE IS YOUR FAITH? WHERE IS YOUR TRUE HAPPINESS? WHO DO YOU TRUST?
AND WHERE IS YOUR TRESURE AT? GOD BLESS YOU ALL . Rev .Karen Woods
