I was kind of disappointed when this 5th volume finally showed up. It seemed like IDW kept pushing the release back and after awhile I almost didn’t even bother getting it. While I was pleased that the story continues, the synopsis on the back is a bit misleading. We DO get to see Agent Helix and Snake Eyes kick some major ass, but the whole thing about Duke, Hawk, and Scarlett battling for their lives is a load of BS. The volume had minimal focus on them, much to my disappointment (Yes, I am one of those people who is a huge Duke fan). Irregardless, I hope IDW continues publishing JOE stories, and it’d be nice to see another cartoon similar to “G.I. JOE: Resolute” come out to make up for the abysmal “Rise of Cobra” movie…I’d even settle for a live-action reboot.
