The origin of Pincher from Challenge of the GoBots.
Pincher looks awesome as a toy-much better made than a lot of Transformers-in fact a lot of them were. Too many Transformers toys in one place is a very tacky sight.
Ok go bots are cool but they look kinda retarded cause they all look the same
Pincher is voiced by Peter Cullen…
@jm113825 No i mean a high budget film like Transformers

@autobotgirl135 well yeah it probably was. after all, it was shut off 20 years ago….
but only a kid wouldn’t know that this was first. so i’m going to go ahead and sum that up and say….. 14?
@herroIMlilo uh…yeah i kno that but this still sux aft
@wolfdevon dumb prick, you weren’t even sperm when this came out.
@starscreamsgirl989 transformers was after this….
Pincher! Who is coming next? The Tickler ?
Pincher was a Guardian???
@daddymi About the same time actually. Hasbro approached Takara about selling their toys in the US. Tonka got wind of this and approached Bandai to compete with hasbro. Gobots released in the US first, transformers not long after.
Gobots cartoon was broadcast in the US a week before transformers.
So, I guess you could say gobots was first, but both different toy lines had been in Japan for years(Machine Robo for gobots, Diaclone for TF). Hell, the Megatron mold was created in the 70′s
so who’s the first? gobots or tranformers?
