Heng Long Tiger 1/16 RC Tank – German Tiger Panzer Test Drive
Some Test Scenes with my new Heng Long Tiger 1 Tank (Smoke & Sound Version, Metal Gear) First Scene with the “Out-of-the-Box”-´Model. The second scene is with the basic painted version. In the Video the Tank apears more greenish because of the wrong auto-white-balance of my cam. Next time i made this by hand
I just recieved the metal tracks but this test is wirh the plastic racks. Used Tamiya Paint an the new Tamiya Wetahering Master Set for Dirt on the Armor. Still working on this….more vids soon! (Sorry for my bad english)
@RedNekCoasters i drive in water without a sealed body and it stil working and a drives totday to snow and he is still driving( it can but i don’t say it is very good for it) it is fun to do!
@MacMave Wow thank you for telling me that now that the snow is melted away I can drive it without worry.
Also My rear idle wheels keep getting out of the groove in the treads is there something I can do to keep that from happening?
-Cheers
@RedNekCoasters: Don`t drive in the snow! The Body is not sealed. There are guides on the Internet to seal the Chassis, but i`ts a lot of work. If water comes in the electronics can be destroyed.
I have the same tank Just with out the smoke and sound.
It snowed here and its pretty thick.
Do you think that would have hurt the motor?
-Cheers
use baby oil for the smoke.. its the same stuff
Well i did just opened it:) your right a little copper cable was loose inside the generator it works again now:D
@eriki3000: Hi! The best way is to open the Tank an look in maybe a cable is off – I think 2ml is not enough. Is the Smoker turned on?
Hey i did just added some of the liquid but the smoke doesnt come out i did adder around 2ml and if i start it there isnt coming smoke out (i added it in those rubber tubes ) can you tell my whats rong and how i need to add it?
@MacMave o there is one just on the corner here:d thx man:)
@eriki3000: I`m not sure with the liquid of party generator, but you can buy it in toy stores where they have realistic toy trains. They use the Liquid for the steam train, too.
Hey i tot the pro version with metal tracks and stuff but im asking the liquid for the smoke generator where do u get it? Or is it the sam stuff as dj uses in there big generators on party’s?
does it shoot .. dont flame me faggets
lol,i thought it was a real tank.very cool too.
@MacMave how load is it
why would you have to “test” a toy that came packed in a box ready to play with?
@XxDarkShadowzZ . Galaxy Models & Hobbies, sell the metal tracks separately. They are priced at £56.00.
Is there any website that sells the tiger 1 early production Henglong tank metal treads seperatly?
@hanefar11: It takes about 10 seconds to start after you push the key button. In this time the frontlights are blinking and after 10 seconds the lights stay on. Then its ready to run.
i have a problem i have charged my tiger to full and changed batteries in controller but when i press the key button it dosen’t respond??
@zacksairsoftattack with metal tracks and wheels the tank moves more realistic. if u use metal tracks you have to buy the metal main wheel, too. The plastic one is too weak to move the metal track.
do you recommend getting the all metal drive wheels and tracks or just the plastic. im using it for outdoors
I have the HL S/S Tiger I and man the Suspension Sucks, its so easy to break its not even funny, but its all good, I managed to find a site that carries Metal Upgrades for 1/16th tanks.
And its the same with the Plastic Treads, they can easy snap apart as well, the Right Treads on my Tiger broke in two places…Metal Tracks is must have and will last longer and like what the OP has in his Tiger I, Metal Gears…its must have for any RC Tank, it’ll add some realism to a tank’s performance.
day 90, my one is still under maintence.
i so want 1
It has metal gears! Those with plastic gears are the old versions from HL. Right now i have metal tracks, too.
