Tiny but Lot of Fun,
A very tiny remote control car that is perfect for kids of most ages. And when I say tiny, I mean TINY. The car itself is probably no bigger than a inch or so.
That being said, the car is great on most surfaces. I had mixed results on carpet. Seems to go forward fine, but backwards, can be another story. Also be careful about hair or debris getting stuck in the wheels. Once I moved the car from carpet to hardwood, it took me a moment to figure out why the thing started only going in circles. It turned out that a hair wrapped around one of the back wheels.
Surprisingly, the toy also doubled as a great cat toy. While taking it out for its first test run, my kitty could not get enough of it. Maybe she thought it was a mouse? Either way, I had a blast playing with the car and my cat seemed to enjoy chasing.

|This little car is fast but those little wheels pick up everything…,
My son aged 6 (almost 7) is in love after trying out this car with me. When he saw what I was pulling out of the box his eyes lit up. The 4 ‘AA’ batteries required for the controller are not included so keep this in mind if you are giving this as a gift. The car is rechargeable through the controller. We plugged the car into the controller and after 25 minutes it was ready to use. Just turn the switches on the car and the controller to “on” and race away. It is indeed fast and my son set up ramps and turns to test out the control. It made sharp and fast turns. This toy is intended for indoor use on a hard surface (avoid sand). The included directions list tips on how to get the best performance from your car. I had to consult these directions after two days of play. The car would no longer go forward and on reverse just pulsed back and forth without going anywhere. I removed the tiny screw and used tweezers to remove a tiny piece of fuzz from the rear wheel. This enabled the car to go forward again but reverse is still compromised. Hopefully I will be able to figure the problem out as it is a fun little car. We don’t have pets but I could only imagine what pet hair could do to those wheels! It is easy for my son to use even though the suggested age range says 8 and up. One thing I really liked right off was that everything stores in a compact, portable rectangle that includes the car, controller, and charger. It would fit nicely into a stocking but you may not have the patience to troubleshoot and/or do hair and fuzz removal over the holidays.

|Fun toy that my son absolutely LOVES,
What a convenient little RC car. The charger also doubles as the remote control. One advantage to the micro car is that it charges rather quickly, which probably shouldn’t come as a surprise due to its very small size. The car is approximately the size of an average Hot Wheels toy, and accelerates incredibly FAST.
One thing I (stupidly) thought turned out to be entirely wrong…I thought that since the car was re-chargeable, that the remote control would be, too. Nope. It requires 4 Double A batteries. I would’ve preferred being able to charge the device via a wall plug-in, but you can’t have everything, right?
Like I said, the car charges VERY fast, and the remote control actually works from quite a distance, too. It didn’t take long for my 9 year old to figure out how to make it perform tricks among other things. As he played with it outside for the first time he had a crowd of his neighborhood friends gathered around. They all were quite impressed. That little car accelerates amazingly fast, too. The only real drawback is the car is actually SO small you can only use it on fairly flat surfaces…we discovered it doesn’t work so well on carpet.
In short, great little RC car that a 9 year old can master rapidly. VERY pleased with the entertainment factor…and so is my son.
