A true gamer – no machine biases, just about good games!

  • Riokushinaku:

Released in 2003 and its a classic? Lol, I’m younger than you and you just made me feel really old :(

  • l33trikimaru:

lol am playin kotor series now on my xbox original … the hardest thing to do is actually stay neutral as this is how I think jedi SHOULD be. just got a pc so am getting in the mood for the old republic.

dark cloud 2 was rlly goood

  • TheAradar:

I would actually say my best rpg experience in any game to date is the original Everquest back in 1999. People were really roleplaying in that game back when it was new.

  • NinjaSushi2:

Would Heroes of Might and Magic be considered an RPG? Because they way you had to build up your towns and armies then travel the adventure map was just unreal.

  • tpiom:

I like Knights of the Old Republic II more… It’s more different than any other (Star Wars) game, with some elements we just haven’t seen before in the universe. Too bad it was rushed…

@Luckmann I completely agree a real top 5 would be fallout, fallout 2, baldur’s gate II, baldur’s gate, planescape torment and honourable mentions arcanum and icewind dale

  • LaharlD2:

You’re wrong dude about some of what you say about Chrono Cross. You can check my top Ps1 games to learn about Chrono Cross. #1 in your vid was a shock.

@MothersCuntJuice Twat face? Definately! (refering to you if had not already noticed)

  • kespec:

    damn ultima…

id kill for that britania map.

  • musicdrunkie:

The thing with Morrowind, it required some patience with the storyline and getting used to not getting distracted by the unbelievable landscapes. The massive universe and the unique design were only second to the ones from Arcanum.

    torment not 1st? thumb down

  • Luckmann:

Most of those aren’t RPGs and some of them aren’t even old enough to be called classics. I find it hilarious that he saves the real RPGs like Baldur’s Gate (2) and Fallout for “honorable mentions”.

It’s so sad that people feel that anything can be passed off as a RPG just because it has some kind of statistics system in it.

i have only played ffX out of those games, and i really like it it actually was my fisrt rpg game and i really loved it, ive also played ffX2, ff12, dragon quest 8, star ocean till the end of time, and i dont know if kingdome hearts is an rpg so i still have a very long way to go, but i cannot play too much because i have a condiion now :(

  • Arglactable:

TORMENT. Best game ever made. But Chrono Cross… The only thing that redeems that game at all for me is the soundtrack, which, like Chrono Trigger, was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. I have no idea why they decided to follow up CT with a bland JRPG with vague ties to the original.

  • mercurynrw:

Thumbs up for someone that appreciated Chrono Cross!

  • MIDNAq1LINK:

9:15 that reminds me so much of Dragon Warrior NES!!

  • alone8406:

OMG WAS THAT A FIVE N A QUARTER INCH FLOPPY LOLOLOL

  • MetalJesusRocks:

@Ruslakall – I really enjoyed Pool of Radiance, and still own the game in the BOX! Those were great games…

  • Ruslakall:

You wanna talk classics? What about Pool of Radiance? Curse of the Azure bonds, Secrets of the Silver blades or Pools of darkness?
Or some from the Dragonlance saga like Champions of Krynn or Dark queen of Krynn?

  • McScreamo:

i respect your opinion on chrono cross, however i cannot seem to get past that battle system. it’s extremely confusing and i play some crazy battle system games like xenogears, grandia and vagrant story.

  • Carthsting:

Thanks for KOTOR. I played it inside and out 10 or more times.
